"Of particular note was its midrange and lower midrange eloquencea quality that brought to life the deep voices and trailing resonances of cello, bass viol, and bassoon, or the throaty bloom of tenor sax. Bass response was equally outstanding. I relished listening to Leonard Cohens dark tremulous vocals on Old Ideas, or the bouncy acoustic bass intro to Harry Connick, Jrs rendition of A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square from We Are in Love. Generally speaking, bass response not only seemed to extend a bit deeper than my previous reference, but pitch also remained rock-steady and focused, well into a sustained decay. And I had to pick my jaw up off the floor as I listened to the thunderous bass drum from the Wilson Audio recording of Liberty Fanfare from Winds of War and Peace. From the instant the mallet struck the drum skin to the final flare and flutter and resonance of decay, I sat immobilised by the power and grandeur of the sound."

They are exceptionally good at resolving the structure of the music from top to toe, but especially good at making high frequencies detailed with out being bright or hard sounding.

If the system works, the music is truly masterful, as is the case here.

Perhaps the big bonus of the VooDoo cable line-up as tested here when used as a family was they presented an air of increased believability in the sound produced by my system.

The sonic performance of the Stradivarius Amati Interconnect offers a vivid musical presentation. The Stradivarius Amati is handcrafted with signal conductors made of continuous cast pure silver litz wire and solid-core single-crystal silver and copper that have been treated in our proprietary Cold Fusion cryogenic process. Each conductor is encapsulated in oil-impregnated silk with air-core Teflon® dielectric that is velocity-matched for balanced inductance and capacitance. The conductors of the Stradivarius Interconnect are 100% protected from EMI and RFI by a concentric shield of silver-plated copper braid. Stradivarius Amati single-ended interconnect is terminated with cryogenically treated WBT 0152 Ag pure silver RCA connectors. Stradivarius Amati Balanced Interconnect is built with Rhodium over silver-plated Tellurium copper XLR connectors. Each pair of Stradivarius Amati interconnect have a unique serial number with a Manufacturers Certification of Authenticity. Hard shell case included.
