Kuzma Stabi Ref 2 AC Power Supply/Speed Control.

Ref 2 Power Supply PS AC:

In 2009 we introduced a new power supply called PS Ref 2. This power supply is the only difference between models Stabi Ref 2 and Stabi Ref . In earlier models frequency and sine waves were generated with quartz and filters( Stabi, Stabi S PS, Stabi Ref, Stabi XL).  Later versions (since 2008 Stabi Ref 2, Stabi XL2 & 4) use computer generated signals which need less filtering and have even better and finer speed adjustment.

The AC motor power supply generates dual sine wave ouput to control rotation and speed of the AC sycnhronous motors. The signal is generated by quartz and controlled by a sophisticated computer based program. This allows for very smooth generation of the sine wave with very fine choice of speed. Each speed can be selected, finely adjusted independently and then stored in the memory. PS is factory preset. Connect motor cables to motor outputs( any ) Sometimes it will take a few hours for a new turntable to reach the correct speed. When the PS is unplugged preset speeds will be stored.
